Big Bang Exhibition

Big Bang Exhibition

On Tuesday 26th June selected Year 7 students, including members of the College’s STEM club, went to the Big Bang exhibition held at Westpoint Arena in Exeter. This is the region’s largest celebration of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) and featured a diverse range of STEM employers, interactive exhibits, an exciting Science show and the opportunity to speak to lots of experts about careers in STEM. The Devon Ambulance exhibit was amazing and featured the most life like first aid training manikin we had ever seen. Well-done to all the students who came on the trip, asked brilliant questions and coped very well with the particularly hot weather. If you would like to join the STEM club, it is for Years 7 to 9 and meets on a Monday lunch time in Miss Pine’s room. A big thank you to Plymouth City Coach CEO Richard Stevens, who provided the coach transport free of charge due to the value of this experience for our students.
