Duke of Edinburgh Gold Practice

Duke of Edinburgh Gold Practice

Injury and bad weather meant that the Gold Duke of Edinburgh practice walk had to be cut short.  The three sixth form students; Tom Hicks, David Jory and Ben Craddock along with another gold participant, set off from Ivybridge for the 3 day expedition on Dartmoor during the October half term.  The team managed to complete 2 days walking and an overnight wild camp before having to finish their practice walk early.  Well done to the boys who were able to show the skills they will need to complete their assessment walk next year.
