Emotional Health and Wellbeing

As a College we are continually looking at ways to support young people with their emotional health and wellbeing.  In order to do this we need to work together with parents/carers and acknowledge the pressures on young people within education and society.

Problems with anxiety are really common. According to the charity Anxiety UK, as many as 1 in 6 young people will experience an anxiety problem at some point in their lives.

The School Nursing Service offer additional support to young people, this can be accessed via a confidential drop in service every Tuesday lunchtime in the Student Support Centre. Alternatively they can be contacted direct for advice and guidance on 01752 814632.  Referrals can be made through the Early Help Hub Service earlyhelphub@cornwall.gov.uk.
