Learning Resources for Absent Students

Learning Resources for Absent Students

During this uncertain period the College is experiencing a high level of student absence as parents follow the government’s latest guidance on the coronavirus and self-isolation. As you are aware from yesterday’s announcement those with symptoms, or with family members with symptoms, have been asked to self-isolate for 14 days.

Although we are committed to ensuring that all of our students have access to learning resources, it is very difficult to set work for absent students at this time.  Should a school closure be announced by the government, we will use Show My Homework to share a full range of teaching and learning activities for children to complete at home.  However, at this time with an unusually large number of students absent from College we do not have the capacity to set work for individuals.  We apologise for any inconvenience and recommend the following online platforms for home learning:

Further information will be sent out shortly on the learning provision that will be in place for our students in the event the College has to close.
