Mr Feast Memorial Sculpture

Mr Feast Memorial Sculpture

Last week as part of Brain Awareness Week, students were shown a scaled down model of the memorial the College plan to erect to celebrate the life of Mr Feast. As most parents and the community are aware, our colleague Richard Feast died last summer from brain cancer. There will be more details soon, as we are planning some fundraising events after Easter to raise between £6000 – £8000 which will be shared between the memorial fund and Mr Feast’s chosen charity, Plymouth Oncology Ward.

The permanent memorial is being sculpted by celebrated and award winning Cornish artist Reece Ingram www.reeceingram.co.uk The memorial will be placed at the front of college for all members of the community to see. Anyone who wishes to make a donation to the fund can do so by supporting and sponsoring a member of staff or a student to take part in the Mr Feast Memorial Mile event in May or by making out a cheque to Torpoint Community College and marking it Mr Feast Memorial on the back.
