This might be about friendship issues, bullying or finding school life difficult. Please try and encourage your child to share and, if they need to, email the "worries" line to get a chance to chat to a teacher about this. We might arrange for a student mentor to meet with them or they might have an idea for someone they would like to talk to and we can arrange this for them. It is important that parents/carers send letters to their child’s tutor or college reception providing details of planned absences e.g. dental or medical appointment. This will ensure that students are correctly accounted for on the college registration system, and that Truancy Calls are not sent unnecessarily. Useful Links How can I help my child with homework?
