Post 16 Pathways Trip to Plymouth College of Art

On Thursday 28th September a group of 30 Art, Business, Computing and Media Year 12 and 13 students attended a Pathways Trip to Plymouth College of Art. This trip was to introduce students from TCC to the facilities on offer at PCA and also to look at possible degree programmes in related fields to their A’ Levels.

Workshops included Creative Advertising and Brand, Fashion, Painting and Drawing, Campus Tour including Fab Lab 3D scanning, photography studios and Green Screen Studio.

Our students were all willing to get involved in all of the workshops despite some not being their chosen specialist area.

We are planning more trips to PCA in the near future as well as working in partnership on portfolio advice and guidance and mock interviews for our Post 16 students, exciting collaborative projects in KS3 and much more.

Well done to the Year 12 and 13 students who came on the trip; you were all polite and engaged really well with the tasks set for you.
