Following a period of Public Consultations, the College adopted Foundation Status by becoming a Co-operative Trust on 31st December 2011. Initial Trust partners are:
- YMCA
- Plymouth College of Art
- Cornwall Local Authority
- Co-operative Society
- Antony CE Primary School
- Following further discussion a few months later, the following Trust partners were gained:
- University College Plymouth at Marjons
- Millbrook CE Primary School
