Year 10 Cooking Success!

The year 10 catering students at Torpoint Community College have once again proved they are very proficient cooks having produced stunning dishes in a limited amount of time. The students were required, as part of their GCSE course, to plan, prepare and cook four dishes that best represented dairy products, as well as showcase their culinary skills.

The students chose a range of delicious dishes including; chicken stuffed with cream cheese and served with seasonal julienne vegetables, various flavoured quiches, vanilla panna cotta and pavlovas. The college is very proud of the students’ achievements and the hard work they put into producing a range of excellent dishes.
