The University of Plymouth, Peninsula Dental School is offering a new Residential Dental Summer School for up to 35 students in Years 11 & 12 who are interested in Dentistry/Dental Therapy & Hygiene and studying in schools and colleges across the South West.  

The dates for the three-night, four-day programme are from Monday 11th July to Thursday 14th July 2022. The summer school is free for students to attend and travel, accommodation and catering costs will be covered by HEE funding/Peninsula Dental School.

This programme is aimed at young people who are from disadvantaged backgrounds, and this will offer them the opportunity to have a better understanding of how they can enter the dental profession. Peninsula Dental School will welcome the students onto the main University of Plymouth campus enabling them to gain an insight into the whole life cycle of a dental/DTH student, from the admissions and selection process to life beyond dental school, showing them the range of careers within the oral healthcare profession.
