Dear Year 9 Parents and Carers,

Unfortunately the College is currently experiencing very high rates of staff absence, mainly due to COVID, which is making it particularly challenging to sustain the level of teacher and support staff cover required at the College. As a result, and following consultation with the local authority and chair of governors, our Year 9 students will need to stay at home tomorrow and Wednesday (22nd and 23rd March) and complete remote learning.  This arrangement is subject to ongoing review and further updates will be sent out as soon as possible regarding the rest of the week.

Vulnerable students, students with an EHCP and students with Social Worker involvement will still be required to come to school regardless of the above.

I understand the disruption and inconvenience caused again by the above arrangements, and I can only apologise for the adjustments that will have to be made to accommodate them. I would like to thank you for your continued support.
