5-a-side football summer league
Over the last 7 weeks Mr Farmer has been running a 5-a-side football summer league for TCC boys in years 8 & 9. It all began with a draft system in order to create the teams which was incredibly exciting as each name was drawn from a hat. Two teams went on to only lose one game over the course of the whole tournament and they, by pure chance, met each other in the final week of the competition…the winner of this match would be crowned overall champions. Team D, without Flyn P (one of their key players) pulled off an incredible performance to achieve victory 5 – 2 and therefore lift the summer league trophy! It was a shame that there could only be one winner as both teams performed exceptionally well throughout the course of the 7 weeks. The attitude of all 48 students involved in the competition was excellent and it was fantastic to see students from different year groups interacting with each other so positively.
